Hello,

I use a dvd-rw as a backup, using the 'live file formatting' option. No
problems.

How can I password protect the disc ?

Thanks

Use file encryption as you copy them to the CD/DVD.

Visit www.google.com and perform a search for "password protect DVD".

File encryption would work if the OP was running Vista Business,
Ultimate, or Enterprise versions. If the OP was running Vista Basic or
Home Premium, file encryption is not available.

I presume he meant that BitLocker Drive Encryption is not included with the
Home versions.
