The problem now is the wife doesn't remember her password! Password recovery
wants to send the reset info to her old e-mail account which was deleted and
nolonger active. Is
there anyway around this other than setting up a new account?

regards

Greetings Chuck,

Windows Live ID services can help with this:
https://support.live.com/default.aspx?productkey=wlid

To get to the form choose any option from the FAQ on the left, then choose 'Get more help' at
the bottom right, and then 'Get more support'.

Thanks, but how long does it take from support to respond to my concern?

Hi,

I've forgotten what the official timeframe should be, but generally I've heard from most
people that they get a response in less than a day.

MAX, got back but didn't offer any solution. The problem... can't login
because the wife forgot the password and can't reset the password because
the orignal e-mail address isn't active anymore. Now waiting for MAX's help
again!

Hi,

In general it takes at least two e-mails to get anything out of the ordinary done. Unless it
has changed recently, the "rule" is that they aren't allowed to customize their initial
response to your mail (only cookie cutter answers) but can do so on the first reply from you
and actually take the necessary action.
