Hello. The last few times after a standard restart I have had to re-enter my
log/pass
on sites that were set up to be auto-logon sites. This is not a major bother
but I was wondering what might be causing this and possibly how to prevent
it in the future. I don't recall this happening before. I run Vista Home
Premium. Thanks for your help. ps Should all users be logged off before
restarting?

Possibly the entry for that is corrupt. Go to IE, tools menu, Options,
Content tab, .Autocomplete. Settings button, and clear all password checks,
and restart IE to then turn it back on.

Thanks Mark for your prompt reply. I don't exactly follow what do..I'm at
that AutoComplete window.. there are 4 checked boxes followed by " delete
auto-complete history " The 4 boxes are "web addresses","Forms", "user names
and passwords on forms" and below that "prompt me to save passwords" How
exactly do I proceed? This is not dangerous is it? Thanks so much

Uncheck all, delete history, OK, restart windows, re-check as you prefer,
OK, and test it.
