Hi,

Is there any plug-in that let you paste a picture directly on the
conversation window? Quick and easy way when did a snapshot on the screen
and send to other partner compared to save a file and send?

Thanks

Wu

None that I've seen. You can copy/paste text, links, etc., but not graphic
files.

Greetings Wu,

There was, but this was way back in MSN Messenger 6.0 (which you can't even sign in anymore
on). It's not been reproduced since.

how about 2 motions? 1) press printscreen button or ALT+ prtScreen for
window only, and then 2) drag and drop

explanation:

download GRABCLIPSAVE (free) that captures and saves it on your desktop,
then drag and drop that onto an IM window?

http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multime...ClipSave.shtml

tell me if this information helps

thanks

Thanks, what I need is to send a pic as emoticon or winks which display
immediately in other's conversation window. I think it is possible to work
out.

Your method: 1. PrintScreen;2. Save to a file;3.Send the file;4. Other part:
Accept;5.Other part: Open received file.

My expectation: 1. PrintScrean, 2. Paste in the window, then other side can
see it immediately.

Which saves 3 steps---lots of time

As I said already, it's been done before in the way you describe. However, I believe there
are now limitations imposed within Messenger that prevent it from being implemented (very
easily anyway).

My method mentioned saves the file when you press the printscreen button so
steps 1 and 2 are only 1 step.

ok here is another that I use....

1) use GRAPCLIPSAVE as I mentioned then

2) right click on it and upload it with a tool called
upload express (free) that uploads it to a free image hosting server and
that automatically puts
the link towards that image in your clipboard for pasting...

3) paste the link with Ctrl+V onto messenger

LOL.

It doesn't want to send a file and all that, he wants the DirectConnect feature that AIM has.
