Paste

Why cant I paste into the new messenger 8.1.....

Greetings,

There's nothing in 8.1 that should prevent you from copy/pasting. Can you elaborate on what
you're trying to do?

For some reason half of my tool bar seems to be missing. I have font size and
others, but not paste and copy. I repaired it and still no luck.

Hi,

The menu is hidden by default in Messenger now. If you press Alt-E on the keyboard, it
should appear.

Additionally, you could just right-click in the area where you type messages and choose Paste
there.

Or just press Alt-V on the keyboard to Paste.

Thank you so much,,it worked. I dont know why my husbands messenger shows the
fonts, size and paste and copy, but it does,,but what you said works great..

Hi,

At the top right of the conversation window, you'll see a small icon next to the standard
minimize, maximize, etc, clicking that will make the menu appear at all times.
