Patch Install Sequence

I have downloaded the patches and the latest service pack.

Please validate the following sequence:

Step-1.Apply latest service pack and Reboot.
Step-2. Apply latest IE patch update [Applying first is optional but
recommended] and all other patch updates one at a time and surpress/delay the
reboot.
Step-3. Restart/ Reboot the system.

Quick chaining is built into all windows patches(post SP3 on Win2K, post
SP1/SP2 on XP)with the exception of Internet Explorer so for all patches the
reboot can be delayed.

Are there any patches that cannot be quick chaining other than IE?

Are there any patches that would break the above patch install sequence?

Hello Arun,
There is no issue with the install sequence you mentioned. I would
strongly suggest you confirm that none of the updates you're insalling have
been superceded by any of the oter updates you wish to install.
