Patch ms06-078 and ms07-013 install on 2k3 sp2?

Does Windows 2003 Server Service Pack 2 need ms06-078 and/or ms07-013?? I do
not have Office XP installed.

A Win2K03 SP2 machine does not need MS07-013; cf. Non-Affected Software
section of http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../MS07-013.mspx

A Win2K03 SP2 machine does need MS06-078 if Windows Media Player v6.4 is
installed; cf. Affected Software section of
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sec.../MS06-078.mspx.

It's generally best to install any critical update offered to a machine by
Windows Update instead of trying to pick & choose ones you think it may
need.
