patches for memorex internal dvd recorder

I desperatly need a patch .Windows negated both my drives. HELP/

Reboot to Safe Mode
Remove all affected hardware from the Device Manager
Reboot to Normal Mode
See if that helps - then go to a more appropriate forum.
