Some are using this, but basically, you would need to convert the composite
to a VGA or DVI signal.

Not higher resolution, but it will allow you to play your games on a VGA 15
pin monitor for under $50: http://www.buynshop.com/productinfo//VG-VGA-BOXB

Best Buy or similar may have them, but probably not. Another solution would
be a TV Tuner card with RCA inputs.

About the only way to hook your Playstation 2 upto your PC, is to have a
video card with a "video in" port on it. Then you will see the game output
onto the monitor. You could also, as mentioned, get a device that allows you
to hook the video cables to a DB15 connector on your computer monitor. Other
than that, there is no "hooking up to your PC" that can be done. It can't be
used as an extra drive, or a media extender, or anything else.
