PC does not seem to rebot after SP"

After installing SP2 system fails to reboot, well waited for 30mins.
Safe made the same loads upto c:\windows\system32\drivers\agp440.sys
Fails on whatever is next in the list. Deleting the agp440.sys is no help
as it will only go upto the previous item.

Richard,

It appears that you have one of the Processors that have an issue
with XP SP2. Have a look here for some assistance :

My computer is over a year old, so I apparently don't have a Prescott
processor. Yet, it now takes twice as long to reboot as to turn off
computer and turn back on.
