PC Freezes after Upgrade

Hi all

I just upgraded my PC, I added

Intel Core2duo E7200 CP
Gigabyte EP45-DS3L Motherboar
MSI N9500 512mb Vid Car
Transcend 4GB Kit (2x2gb) 513178-0581 Ra

Running Vista Ultimate (32bit) and a 550w PS

Now the problem, the PC seems to just freeze when load if put on th
PC, like installing something or running something, I thought it ma
have been the 4gb on the 32bit OS so I removed 1 stick of ram, it was
little better but it still freezes, swap the ram around same prob.
downloaded the hotfix for the over 2gb ram thing but no change... i
there some tweaking of the ram that needs to be done (it is 5,5,5,15 a
the moment) or maybe the ram is faulty or maybe just not compatible wit
mobo

Can anyone suggest what might be a fix etc?? Its really stressing me a
i just spent good $$ on this upgrade and its not working

Oh I did format the HDD prior to first boot with new hardware too

i'd test 1 stick of ram at a time . if it's not your ram then check you
temps.maybe
your heatsink is not set right and the cpu is overheating

yeah I did mention I tried each stick..same result....the strange thin
is, it froze during the vista install...so im thinking ram

did you test the memory or just move it around? there's a program (can'
remember what it called) for testing the memory at bootup .i think yo
press f6 and at the bottom of the screen is the program

yeah mem test..i just think maybe my ram is not liking the mobo as i
only happens when the cpu/mobo needs the ram to do somthing decen
