PC (Microsoft) asks for XP Professional CD but I have XP Home

For the past few weeks, my PC tells me each morning that there is a WIndows
update available. However, it asks for the Windows XP Professional CD to do
the install and I have (and have always had) only Windows XP Home. Now, it
asks if I want to upload SP3. When I go through the steps, it always comes
back and asks for the XP Professional. Something in my PC is telling
Microsoft that I have XP Professional but I don't know what it is or how to
change it. Any suggestions?? Thank you.

That would be your Microsofit "OFFICE" XP Professional CD, not Windows XP.
SP3 is a service pack for Microsoft Office XP.
