Common problem due to limitations of 48-bit Logical Block Addressing
support. Check your drive manual on how you may be able to correct it.
1. Was it working at full capacity on THIS system or only on another?
2. Is the file system NTFS?
3. Did you right click on the drive, tools, check volume for errors?
4. Does Disk Management say the drive is healthy?
5. Does Disk Management show unallocated space for this drive?
6. Also check in your BIOS. Does it see the drive's correct size?
7. In BIOS is this drive set to auto?
8. How old is this drive?
