PC turn on by itself?

Hi,
Running on Win98. Find that my PC will boot up/switch on every day at 9am
and 9pm. Can anyone please help me deactivate/reconfig this function on
Win98?
By the way, cannot turn off the main switch as it is shared with other
users/appliances.

Try going into the BIOS and turning off the wakeup by LAN option - if there
is one.

Robin;
Go to BIOS.
Look for something like "Wake on LAN" or "Wake on ring", normally
under Power tab.
Disable them.
Also look for something about power up at a particular time.
