I have Windoes Vista.

While Windows Defender was in the process of sanitizing a file, I exited it.
After that, when I rebooted the computer I get this message:

Windows could not start. It could be because of a software you recently
added or changed. Please follow these steps to fix it.

1. Insert installation disk
2. Select the language
3. Select repair your computer

File: boot\bcd
Status: 0XC000000f
Info: An error occured while reading boot configuration data
-------------
I tried to reboot using the original installation disk. It does not work.

Can someone help, Please?

Have you tried tapping F8 right at startup, and getting into Safe Mode to do
a System Restore to before the problem?

Try borrowing another Vista DVD and booting from it, also be sure you have
the boot sequence set up to try to boot from the DVD first. You will need
to either carry out the repair install as instructed or wipe and reinstall
Windows completely to recover from the error you are now seeing.

More "proof" that Vista is secure and rock solid. Its own "security"
program nuked it. LOL, sorry, but that's funny!

compiz nukes lots of debian OS's.
That's a display manager, case you don't know.

Oh, and ubuntu is a debian OS.

It get's nuked enabling 3D all the time.

A ruined Xserver means no gdm/kdm...means can you fix that from the CLI ?

I know you can't .

Not mine in almost two years. Oops.

Mine doesn't, nor do the dozens I have installed for others. Maybe if
you learn how to do a proper install ...

Haven't had that problem and I hope you solve your problems with Ubuntu
and your ego but I'm not holding my breath.

I guess you think if you lie enough it will somehow morph into the
truth. Pretty sad, lamer.

Debian solves all ubuntu problems.
It doesn't push forward new packages still in pre-beta.

I don't have an ego issue ... you do.
If you experienced other distro's, you would know ubuntu is sub-par
