I have recently bought a new PC with Windows Vista Premium Home Edition on
it. After using it once i set it to sleep. When i came back to using the
computer it wouldnt wake up. I tried to re boot the computer by turning it
off and on again. This hasnt worked either! All i get now is a black screen
saying No Signal Input when i come to turning my PC on.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I've heard that using a wireless mouse and keyboard effects this, but surely
it wouldnt make my PC unable to turn on at all. Ive even tried disconnecting
the mouse and keyboard and turning the computer on then but no luck.

Please Help!!!!

New PC with troubles = contact the PC mftr.'s tech support for
repair/replacement.

There have been a ton of posts about problems with Vista machines not
waking from sleep and needing a restart but if nothing happens at all
with yours when you push the power button, this is a hardware problem.

Ok, i recently got a brand new computer, i bought all the parts
seperately, and assembled it. it worked so perfectly, it has a 2.4GHz
Quad-Core processor, 4GB RAM, and a Home Premium Vista. Like i said i
worked fine, untill i experimented with the sleep mode. I put it to
sleep - the orange button, on the bottom right, everything fades, but my
fans were still running, and it seems like my computer is on, but the
screen doesnt display anything
So, i just pulled the plug, since turning off the power button, or
pressing the restart button wouldnt make my pc boot into windows. i
turned off the main power. Now by the looks of it, my pc is still
sleeping every time i try to turn it on, the screen just wont display
anything. It starts up normally, but after the windows loads, i.e. when
the green dots finish running across the screen, the screen just goes
into power saving mode, and it says no signal. i tried leaving it
unplugged for like half an hour, or keep it on for half an hour, but
whatever i do it just wont work go into windows anymore. I have a
wirelsess mouse and keyboard, which only work when windows loads. But
after the green dots finish running across the screen, and after the
screen goes into power save mode, the mouse and keyboard seems to work.
But my screen doesnt display anything. Strange...And also i can run the
safe mode of windows, that one works ok, and i tried system restore to
yesterday, when my computer worked perfectly, and when it restarted,
same problem happend. Please someone help, i really dont know what to do
anymore.....

PS---- I also tried disconecting the wireless mouse and keyboard, and
plugging the normal ones instead, incase wireless keyboards and mice
couse problems...But it didnt help

I hit the sleep instead of shutdown and my vista x64 had the blank
screen too. I put my pc together and have no hardware troubles at all
(pre downloaded all vista 64 drivers b4hand). This issue has nothing to
do with mouse, etc, but the sleep feature disrupts power to graphix etc.
I was able to get my monitor displaying again by removing graphics card,
hooking up pc monitor via default vga, restart pc... all was ok.
Shutdown and reinstalled graphics card, rebooted and everything was
crackn again. I also went through the power management and turned off
anything relating to the 'turning off' of graphics, usb, etc in the
power options. Thought I'd test out the Sleep option again and blank
screen.... so re-did whole scenario again and my monitor display was
back.... so now I'm looking to removing the actual sleep option
altogether from the start menu options...
