I connected my PDA up to my computer to sync and Windows Mobile Device
Center shows it "connecting" and then it says, "not connected". It will not
"connect". I haven't changed anything. Any ideas on what to do to get it
to work right?

Background info:
HP iPAQ RX3115 - Samsung S3c2440 Processor
Windows Mobile 2003 second edition version 4.21.1088 (build 14235.2.0.0)
I have a AMD 4400+ 64X2 4GB memory 320GB HD(way bigger than I need) Acer
computer (AM3100-U3201A) I purchased new February 2008 running 32-bit MS
Vista Home Premium SP1 box. I check for MS auto updates very frequently. I
think it has onboard shared memory for video and sound. I use Quest DSL
1.5mb service with modem direct to computer. No switches or routers or
wireless or any other networking hardware.

Thanks for the help.

Bob

Hi Bob,

Assuming you have already configured the firewall correctly and unblocked
ports that are required for a successful connection as the device was
earlier synchronizing with the copmuter, the first step would be try and see
if a soft reset helps. If not, go to the Control Panel and try repairing the
WMDC installation.
