pdf file opening.

I had to reinstall xp and everything else. Now I have sp2 and adobe 6.x
installed . I can open an adobe file but when I try to open it in
explorer(such as a file download) all I get is a little square in the upper
left hand corner (like the purina dog logo). Is a file from explorer missing
or what. I really don't know what to do.

I have the same problem ! Can somebody please help us !

Launch Internet Explorer and from its Toolbar select:
Tools > Internet Options > Advanced and place a check
next to "Enable third-party browser extensions" and
click Apply.

If the above suggestion does not work, uninstall your
Adobe Reader, then download and reinstall it.
