PDF links

Why can I not view pdf files? Everytime I try all I see is a blank page.
I have Internet Explorer 7.
I have also downloaded version 7 of Acrobat reader, but still no luck. Help!

Why Acrobat Reader 7?
8 is out.

Did you JUST download it or did you install it as well?

What if you SAVE the PDF file and then open it?

I Have tried to download 8 but it my OS won't let it.
My system is XP media 2002 SP2.
I could try to save it but I've always (on mu old pc) been able to open PDF
files.
