When ever I create a pdf file, place it in a folder with full
permission for anyone to use, the pdf files do not automatically get
that permission. when I sync, using allwaysync, the only files that
don't migrate are those pdf files. Once I individually go to each
file and change its permission level, then does it sync. Does anyone
have any suggestions. using vista home premium. thanks.

At the folder, do you have the permissions (in security / advanced) so that
they apply to this folder, subfolders, and files. That should work unless
the program that you are using to generate the PDF is specifically setting
the permissions (seems unlikely).

Thanks for your response, the folder is set up that way, one new thing I
just discovered. The folder is set up with a bunch of permissions, and the
one which seems to work the best is "everyone" which is set up on all my
shared folders, and most files automatically. When I just tested a new pdf
file after your suggestion, when i went to permissions on this file, it did
not show "everyone" i would have to add it mannually. Is there a way to
make this automatic thus eliminating this situation? Thanks for your time
and interest.
