I get the "You have x pending requests" link. I click on it. I get a window
"This program cannot display the webpage". This happens on two different
machines.

Why?

Greetings Dick,

Many people have reported this before. What happens if you go the following URL directly?
http://spaces.live.com/pendingrequests.aspx

I'm thinking "just ignore it" since this whole feature seems to be about
99.5% about trolling to get people to join MSN Spaces which is 99.5% about
Facebook and MySpace envy on the part of Microsoft.

Hi all

Did we ever get a solution ?. I currently have 14 pending requests which I
know are from friends but I am still unable to confirm any of them.

Thanks

Hi,

Out of curiosity what browser are we trying this in? Assuming Internet Explorer, try using
FireFox instead and see what happens. I'd be interested in what error you receive there.

Hi, I have 3 PCs and 3 Laptops here, using Firefox, IE7 and Opera and
the same thing happens here on all machines and all browsers.
Also several of my friends are reporting the same thing. the only
similarity between us all is that we're all using 8.5 beta.

I have had this too for a few days. The url it is directing me to is:

http://.spaces.live.com/pendingreque...?wa=wsignin1.0

Which seems quite strange to me with that dot before "server". It is
supposed to be that way? Perhaps just a misconfiguration? It's been like this
for me for a few days, IE and Firefox, at home and at work, and I haven't
(knowingly) updated Live Messenger recently.
