      11-09-2009
disabling windows firewall worked for me. remember to switch it back on
afterwards if you dont have a 3rd party firewall.

The Windows 7 firewall, in it's *DEFAULT* configuration, does not
interfere with updating. The only way it will is if the User sets the
Profile to an improper firewall Profile or tries to configure it without
understanding what they are doing.

Hence the name ' Windows Firewall with Advanced Security '.
