permission timeout on a foreign Windows Server 2005 DC

Several minutes after I successfully establish a connection with a Windows
2005 SBS DC in domain X the permissions seem to expire for access to one of
its folders on drive1. I can neither browse to the drive over the network
via my Vista WS nor access the files programmatically at this point. If I
reboot my Vista WS everything becomes available again (for a short while).
Could this be a timeout or a multiple connection issue. Note my machine is
a member of another domain where I have an account (domain Y) on the same
segment. As an interesting side note I never have any problem accessing any
of SQL 2005 databases on domain X using the SA account from my Vista
Ultimate workstation. No one seems to have an answer.

Any Ideas?

Charles,
Its hard to answer without knowing much about your setup there.
SBS does not permit trusts, so obviously you do not have a trust set up
between the two domains.
I can't answer for your setup there, but normally you can't access the
resources of one domain from another unless there is a trust. You just get
access denied.
I think from recollection you can map a drive with alternate credentials.
SQL authentication is entirely different and not related to Windows
authentication.
Hope that helps,

Charles,
SBS does not allow trusts, and you will get access denied working from one
domain to another without a trust.
I think you should be able to map a drive with alternate credentials,
SQL authentication is unrelated to Windows authentication.
Hope that helps,
