Two new computers with Windows 7 SP1

I've set up a common "Workgroup" on two computers attached to my router. On
each computer, I've marked their 2nd hard-drives as "shared" with full
access to "Everyone". Yet, when one computer tries to view the directory
tree of of the other, a message appears indicating lack of permission. The
"Advanced" dialog screens seem to be in order, in that "Everyone" has full
access authority. What am I missing?

Thanks,
Bill

Are both computers running Windows 7?
If not, don't use Home Group.

Bill --
This can be a lot of things. It would really help if you provided the
exact error message. That will let us narrow down whether it's an NTFS
permission problem or a sharing permission problem. Also, do you have
identical accounts on both computers? What are the firewall settings? (Is
this a "Public" network? Or a "Private" network?) Finally, is HomeGroup
enabled or not?

I just got back online to newsgroup server. I'll get to
