Hi,

My wife accidentally deleted the Personnal "Downloads" folder permanently.
When notice that these personnal folders are not ordinary folders as it
contains a "Location" tab in it's property menu.

How can I create a new "Downloads" folder or restore it if it is no longer
in the recycle bin?

You don't need to worry about it. Remember, you use Ubuntu!

Recreate 'Downloads' folder, and Properties, Location tab, "restore
defaults" button. If no help, try the 'previous versions' option.

Can't you just go to the users account where is was originally located,
right click/new folder. Then rename it to Downloads.

That's the simplest idea none of the idiots including the Spanky ever
thought of.

I actually recall that Downloads folder was absent on one of my Vistas and I
created it by precisely this simple, simple, simple method.

This is what it means to be a Vista boy (Frank). Clear mind and all.

Oh boy!

Frank reveals that he knows how to create a folder and AlexB thinks
Frank's a genius. LOL! Two idiot peas in a pod.

Q: What OS is built for lusers?
A: Which one requires running lusermgr.msc to create them?

Frank, hard at work on his Vista computer all day:

No, my point was that on the bag round of completely marasmic whining about
Vista Fran was the ONLY ONE who offered the simplest, fastest and workable
solution.

You, Al-Alias on the other hand do nothing to enhance the value of this
group or help people. Frank does, as he just demonstrated.

So if you put your hand straight out, the hair would touch the ground! They
also mistake your head for a Chia-Pet!
