I'm running Vista Home Premium O/S.Live messenger shows emails, but when I
check my inbox there is nothing there.I checked junk just in case, but
nothing there either. This has been going on for about 3 days now,is it a
common problem?

Greetings Suzanne,

Yes, this feature has been rather unreliable lately and through it's past, it's never been
completely 100% accurate. It'll fix itself in a day or so usually.

Hi Jonathatan, the same thing happened to me last Monday. Got a couple of
alerts(you know those boxes that pop up bottom right of the screen) but I
just managed to get a glimpse of the sender: darte...@hotmail.com, the
envelope icon at the top of WLM showed (1) so I double-clicked it but nothing
was in the inbox on the Windows Live Hotmail page. Evidently one of the
alerts was for the "mail" being received but I wonder what the other alert
was for...do you know if, in addition to phantom mails, there have been also
phantom adds/invitations of one's WLM ID by phantom(?) Windows Live users?
