I allowed IE9 to install (fool that I am) and decided to import my
bookmarks from Firefox 4.
Before I did this I used the favorites manager to delete all the folders
which were already there. This worked fine except for one folder and its
sub-folder which it stated "the folder is no longer located in
C:\**\**\favorites . Verify the item's location and try again". I cannot
find it! So I decide to ignore it.
Then I went to import the file bookmarks.html which I had exported to the
desktop from FF4 (and checked it was OK), but only about half of the
folders and links were imported. I deleted and tried several times and this
always happened except it was not always the same number of links and
folder that got imported.
Where am I going wrong?
