Has anyone managed to get a Philips webcam (PCVC840K/20) to work in any
versions of Vista? It appears that all components of the webcam are
automatically included in Vista EXCEPT the video driver!! The video driver
is shown as an unidentified device in device manager.

The Philips Windows XP drivers do not work when run in XP compatability or
native Vista mode and the webcam's installation program freezes. When the
webcam is connected to the USB port, it is active as the webcam's red light
comes on.

TIA

I had the same problem like you guys have... I'm using a Vista x32
operating system and I was very frustrated to see that the video on my
Philips ToUcam Pro II (CVC840K) doesn't work und this version of
Windows. But after a few minutes spent on Google I finaly found
something good and took the time to upload it. Here's the link

just hope it work great for you guys to. If by any chance the file is
deleted, you can get in touch with me by email at ''
