photo gallery refuses to recognize scanner

Hi,

I am trying to import from scanner (CanoScan N67OU) into Windows Photo
Gallery, but Windows Photo Gallery won't recognize scanner. The scanner
works fine with the CanoScan Toolbox and links the image to the photo
gallery allright, but I cant do it from the photo gallery by clicking File |
Import from scanner. My scanner is not on the list of scanners seen from
Photo Gallery. I have tried to update the list but my scanner won't show up.
What should I do to make the Photo Gallery communicate with the scanner?

Just a thought but are you running the
most current Vista driver for the scanner?

The Canon Lide and N series scanners will work only with their own toolbox.
That is as good as Vista compatibility with them gets..
