Yes, it is hot air. But, you all miss the point which I expressed in my 2nd
paragraph. That being, if an op says they have "WLMD" then it is obviously
WLMail installed on the desktop (not Hotmail). So just ask them for the
version number - no need to berate them for using the term "WLMD". I don't
think there was ever a product known as "Windows Live Messenger Desktop", so
professionals familiar with WLMail know what "WLMD" is. Accept that as long
as that newsgroup name says what it says, people will use it to identify
their product. So there's not much use in constantly harping on people
referring to it as WLMD.
