user/administrator issues. Keeps giving message: One component installed, two

Hello Jaco...

Uninstall everything and start from scratch, make sure you are
installing from a cd or dvd, because photoshop for some strange reason
does not like being installed from the hard disk or flashdrive

Be sure to clean out the leftover installer and be sure UAC is turned on.
We use CS3 daily with no problems.

Try to remove every last trace of CS2 first.
On installing CS3 it should ask for the serial number of the previous
version you are upgrading from (proof that you have removed CS2 since it
can't find it !)
I installed CS3 (upgrade) on vista ultimate 64 bit without a problem.
What I do find though is that the Adobe auto updater fails with memory
errors so I suppose manual updates are going to be necessary (if I want
them)
