After I installed the XP SP2, I found out that I could no longer open files
with a .php extension which are found on my harddisk. I used to open these
files without problems before the SP2 update. This seems to be a bug, since
I cannot think why saved .php files should be blocked from being viewed on
the computer!

After I installed SP2 I could no longer get access to the internet. Both
Microsoft Internet Express, and Netscape Navagator along with Outlook
Express, would no longer gain access to the internet, nothing on the
internet...So I un installed it and went to a go back date to get things back
in order. This did not help, I still was not able to gain access to the
internet. After many hours of work I finally figured out that because of the
firewall in SP2 along with the firewall in my Router was the problem...SP2
almost fried my router...I deleated SP2 completly and after re installing the
router, and setting it up things were back in order.....NOW I AM AFRAID TO
INSTALL ANY UP-DATES FROM MICROSOFT....there are no people there to ever
contact just a machine that doesn't listen.....So be it.

I decided to remove SP2 (system restore) since in my work I need to able able
to access php files which are saved on my harddisk. Everything is working as
before.

SP2 is rubbish!

I like the pop-blocker .. but does not justify the rest!
