Why is it that I can easily transfer photographs from my digital camera to
my hard drive, but when I burn them to a CD with the intention of having
prints done at the local ASDA, the PC at ASDA can't find any picture files?

I've checked the CD and the jpg's are there and the CD was closed so that
other PC's could use it.

Please offer any suggestions you might have...... pulling my hair out
here!!!!

Brian

Did you burn it as a photo CD or data disc? If you burnt it as a dedicated
photo disc, it might not be recognized by other players. You might also want
to post this issue in the following ng;

When you say "the CD was closed", it makes me think that you're using
your burner in RW mode.

Don't.

We had lots of problems trying to get "normal" CD readers to read
disks created by the packet driver and properly "closed". Switching to
regular CD-R type burning made the problems go away.
