Sometimes, when I go to save a picture from IE7, (right click-Save Picture
As) it only allows the picture to be saved as a *.bmp file - I'd rather save
it as a .jpg file. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Isn't just that the ability to save as a.jpg is only available if the
source image is already a .jpg?

In the Save As dialog box, choose JPEG from the "Save as type:" drop down list.

Well, I know the source image is a .jpg file because the web link I click to
get to it shows it as a .jpg file.

The only option available is .BMP.
