Hi gang,

I now have an ever increasing amount of photos on my PC due to the fac
that I have a new guide dog. Anyway, until the last few months, whe
opening the Pictures folder I was able to preview each picture/photo a
a glance - using Windows Photo Gallery - without having to double-clic
on any one in particular, before being able to see the photo.

Now unfortunately, for some unknown reason, I am only able to see th
filename of each picture/photo with some sort of cover - presumably
Vista-ism that is no help at all!!

Does anyone know which setting previews each picture/photo when viewe
as Large Icons?

Many thanks,
Chri

Your post is a bit confusing...
if you have a guide dog, then I'm assuming you are blind.

If so, why are you trying to look at pictures...
what kind of cover are you talking about?

Hi,
In Control Panel> Folder Options> View, uncheck "Always show icons, never
thumbnails."

Hope this helps,

Yes. I know a number of visually impaired people and they do not use
guide dogs...the people who use them are those who cannot see

Yes I pretty much assumed the OP was a troll...

As I mentioned...I know quite a few people who are legally blind...
but none of them need guide dogs.

If one can see well enough to do photography a guide dog is not necessary

You must have an Open Source guide dog. Purchase a new guide dog from
Microsoft.
