pictures gone

Today suddenly vista will not download pictures :-(. I don't remember
fooling with any preferences. Anyone got any ideas? Windows mail things to
work just fine until their pictures to download.

I'm not aware of any option in Vista to download anything. Where is it
located?

Please fill in a few of the many blanks in your post. :^{

How are you trying to "download pictures"? From where? Using Internet
Explorer? Or pictures in emails you receive in Windows Mail? Or what?

If you are having problems with Windows Mail, you might have a better chance
of specific answers in the Windows Mail newsgroup:

When I go to a web site that has pictures and text only the text is
displayed.
Evidently it must be a problem with my IP. Linux worked just fine before,
then vista did the above. Went back to Linux & it was ok. Shut down the
machine & later all was ok. Go figure.
