Pin Icons to Desktop

I keep my icons in groups on the desktop but every time I open and close one
it moves to the first space available on the left hand group. Is there a way
I can pin it so that it stays where I want it on the desktop?

rightclick on the desktop ....image / you will found you are looking for.

Right-click somewhere on the desktop, from the context menu choose View and
uncheck Adjust to grid option.
