Als ik Hollands spreek, krijg ik dan een antwoord?

Before I posted here, I searched the internet to find any mention of 'I
can't create stationery in WLM in Windows 7' and noticed that this is indeed
a problem.
It was also mentioned that it might be re-considered, ie go back to the good
old days of XP (stationery-wise of course).
Any chance of that, or is Microsoft determined to make life difficult for
people who like to personalize stationery using their image editors.

I pre-ordered Windows 7 and it arrived on the launch date,I installed it
and looked forward to lots of fun.
It looks great, but I am using my laptop with XP to make stationery, this
wasn't quite the plan...

Sorry, I never use stationery, and I know almost nothing about it.
Perhaps one of the other responders is more knowledgeable in that topic.

Likewise, I don't use stationery in WLM on any o/s(XP, Vista, or Win7)...but if past history of WLM releases is any indication then
Stationery doesn't appear to be at the top of Msft/Live Team's 'things to do list' I or a return to 'the good old days of XP'

Thanks (Dank je wel) Gary.

I have now made a series of templates and will use those.
It makes things more difficult, but hey, it's a challenge :-)
It's disappointing that MS have changed something that worked very well
before.

Women like using stationery, well the ones I correspond with anyway, and men
don't, so I can understand that it's not at the top of the 'this is really
important' list.
I take it coders are mainly male?
Making stationery it's a creative hobby and a shame that it's been made more
difficult instead of easier.

It's not going to stop me making what I want to make, but it's removed a bit
of sparkle from my eagerly anticipated new setup.

Thanks Winston :-)

You may be right that the Windows Live Mail coders are mostly male,
but I think they are driven by what the majority of users want. People
seem to have less and less free time, so those who want to use fancy
(but more time-consuming) options like stationery become fewer and fewer.
For example, look at the current popularity of Twitter, where you can only
use 140 characters of plain text!

Joelle,
You're welcome
Good luck with your creations, I'm sure they're very nice.

Hah, whatever happened to 'in the future we will have oodles of leisure
time'.
I am still waiting for 'the future'.
Haven't had time to investigate Twitter, I don't think it would be my thing
anyway, I am too old to twitter :-)

Graphics and photography is what I enjoy most.
I do in the Corel groups, what you do here.
Sadly Corel haven't the funds to continue developing their programs properly
(did they ever..) and the groups aren't as well frequented as they used to
be.
A great shame.

Thanks Gary.
