I am running Vista Ultimate 32 bit, Japanese version with an English language
pack installed and Office 2007. Presently am trying to configure network.

I am able to ping the internal adapter, but cannot ping any appliances on
the internal LAN or WAN (Internet locations).

I am also running the latest version of Trend Micro Internet Security Pro.

To date I have not been able to locate anything to repair or reactivate the
ability to ping from the command prompt.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi Mark,

I have the same problem. It's sort of discouraging that after 10
months, no one has posted any reply. Is this unsolvable??

I also am operating Trend Internet Security Pro with Vista Ultimate.

Hi,

While you may see the archive of the original post on a web forum, most of
which slurp messages from a newsgroup server farm, for most of us it's long
gone. Since you did not quote the original (something that you should do),
we have no idea what problem you are referring to. Please create a new post
with details of your issue and hopefully someone might help.
