Pinnacle Studio V 10.5

I just purchased Microsoft Digital Image Suite Plus Version 10. I also
purchase a new PC which is configued with 4GB RAM, 4GB Graphics Card, 500GB
Disk & a 24" monitor.

I was running XP-Pro before I purchased the new PC and almost everything
installed under Vista Premium. One of the programs I live by is Digital
Image so I purchased the latest version. I started the installation and
everything went fine installing Digital Image Suite, but when it finished, I
started to install Pinnacle Studio Version 10 which came bundled with Digital
Image and I receive the following error message; there is a compatibility
issue with Vista, call your software provider.

Well I must say trying to get someone on the phone is a major accomplishment
just in itself.

Anyone out there who have experience the same problem, please tell me how
did you get it too work. I don't know anything about any of the Pinnacle
products so I figured I would purchase a copy and see exactly what it's
capable of doing.

Can anyone help me.......

FWIW...Digital Image 2006 Suite Anniversary
Edition is the latest version and it is optimized for
Vista. However...there is a compatibility update
available for the earlier version you have which is
Digital Image Suite 2006.

And...the following site offers a Vista patch for
version 10...maybe it would be useful. BTW...
any support for the Pinnacle software will have
to be obtained directly from Pinnacle.
