Pixel problem

Yesterday I played two games on my computer. They ran perfectly and had
excellent graphics. Today, after the updates were installed, I try playing
the games. Instead of a nice clear picture it looks all pixelated. White and
gray pixels appear where there should be brown, green, and red. How do I get
my games to look clear again?

Have you tried using the contol panel "Display", tab "Settings" to set the
Colour Quality to "Highest"?

Alright. I've changed no setting from yesterday. The color is set on the
highest. I'm using XP. The games still don't look right. Thank you to anyone
who can help me with this problem

Exactly what updates were installed? If there were driver
updates, one needs to be careful to insure that they are
suitable. Best place to download driver updates is from
their manufacturer's website and not from Windows Update.
In this situation, the video drivers might need to be re-
installed.
