I am planning on doing an inplace upgrade of my Windows 2003 enterprise
server. This server is the enterprise CA. Does anyone have any experience
with this? Any gotchas?

Hello Go,

Even if inplace upgrade to Windows server 2008 is supported i wouldn't do
it. A complete different OS architecture comes with Windows server 2008 so
i prefer a fresh install. This is my own view.

Have a look into this for starting:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...15(WS.10).aspx

If the Windows server 2003 is DC:

FWIW, I'd agree with this completely, OS upgrades are rarely a good
idea, especially on servers.
