Windowz allways opens my mp3-files in notpad when I click 'play all' in my
explorer. I allready checked the application settings and file protocols
which are all properly set. Also when I click a single mp3 file, it asks me
to open with WMP or any other app, while these settings should be correct.

Which application could be the problem, windows explorer, WMP or maybe
windows itself, patchable ?

HELP!

When you right click an MP3 and choose properties you can see File Type and
Open With information. What does the Open With information say? If it says
WMP or something else, choose Change (I'm translating from Dutch so I am not
quite sure what the button says), and select WMP again.

You need to set your default programs so that mp3 always plays with the
selected program. Alternatively, you can set individual file associations
for file types. Please see the following tutorials.
