I'm not a newbie on pc, I assemble by myself my pc, I works with
pc....but still in a mess with flash player!!!
I've read all the post here about this iussue, I've installed,
uninstaled, cleaned register, reinstalled...and so on!!!
I see without any problem flash website, If I check online at Adobe
('Adobe - Test Adobe Shockwave and Flash Players'
(http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/welcome/)) all it's perfect, I see files
in YouTube.
BUT....I cannot see files .swf (shockwave Flash Object)
As you can see on my XP based pc I see the swf files like in this
screen:

In my Vista x64 based PC i see like this:

In Xp I can see with no problem, in Vista I'm asked to install Flash
player and then I'm taken in the Adobe page for the usual installation
of Flash player.

If I check in Program and Features I can see FLash player installed but
with an X on it......
What does it mean??

PLease, can someone help me?
Thanks in advance

There is currently no 64-bit version of Flash Player. So, if you need to view a website that uses Flash,
then you'll need to use the 32-bit version IE. Please see:

Thanks for your reply, but maybe my bad english has been
misinterpreted.
First of all I run the 32 bit version of IE, but I have NO problem with
IE or flash website and so on.....
My problem is with the standalone flash player, ther old Macromedia
Flash Player like this in XP

Download and run the Adobe Flash Player uninstaller:
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...nalId=tn_14157

or direct download:

Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller:
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/f...ash_player.exe

Close all IE windows and run the Flash Player Uninstaller.

Afterward, right-click on the Internet Explorer icon located on
your Taskbar and select: Run as administrator. Then visit:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/downl...ShockwaveFlash

and click on "Install Now".

I've already done and redone .....
I've tried wth the flash player uninstaller by Adobe, I've run as
administrator from C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\FlashUtil9e.... .
I've done and redone this
Nothing.....in IE all it's OK but my flash and shockwave file are still
without a player.
Aniway, THANKS for the reply!
I think there is some incompatibility in Vista 64..... but I don't know
why only with some pc....
Same thing with QuickTime player

He's not talking about IE. He is talking about playing saved .sfw files.

He can use Media Player Classic.
