Hi All,

Not sureif anyone else has come across this. I have problems on 2
vista machines when playing back AVI files. The sound is always out of
sync with the video. However when I play these exact files on Windows
XP I have no problem. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to
why this is happening and how I can fix it?

Thanks

download and use this for your player.. you will find that it can play
almost ANYTHING you can throw at it,
and most of the times you dont need 3rd party codecs for it to work

www.gomplayer.com

far better than the horrible windows media player 11!

Thanks for this I will give it a try. I also have problems when I use
Nero to burn these AVI files as the sound is still out. Do you know
how I can convert these to DVD format with the sound in sync?

Hi, I personally use winavi do avi to dvd conversions (shareware)
http://www.winavi.com/

you can find much video related info on this fantastic site
http://www.videohelp.com/

I want to say that I believe that your sync problem has to do with your
sound driver...

check if you have the latest version installed.
