I have read numeous posts about playing DVD from hard drive but still have a
proble. I copy to the drive using DVD shrink and put in a folder with movie
name/Video_TS and this works 90% of the time. I have several movies, however,
copied the same was others which will not play in Media center. If I use a
3rd part progam like PowerDVD and click on the .vob file directly hey will
play. Does this sound like a copying error?

Yes, use PowerDVD as it plays very well with DVDs loaded to your hard drive.
Yes, you just click on the file in the DVD folder. To find the DVD you want,
it's best to create a new folder named with the title of the DVD, then use
the DVD Decryptor found at G4TechTV.com browsing to the folder with the title
of the DVD, then decrypt. The DVD shrink is used more when you want to burn a
copy of the DVD. I only load DVDs to play from my hard drive, instead of
burning more DVDs. The original DVD becomes my backup. I don't have space for
more discs laying around.
