Playing a video

I downloaded a video to my computer and can't get it to play. It says
Microsoft type video in properties and si a DivX Superquality.avi. Tried to
run it with Quick time and it said can't find correct compressor? and tried
in Power DVD program and it said not valid win32 App. How can I get it to
run. What do I need to do. I am a neophyte in this. Thanks

As your enquiry has nothing to do with the Windows Update service, I suggest
