Please help with drivers!

I am having trouble with a driver for an app of mine (if i said that technically correct).

I have a Zoom R16 interface, that comes with a 32 bit driver. They are saying that the driver will be out and the end of next month, but I've waited a while already. My question is this;

If I install it and run it out of "Program Files (x86)" should I be able to run it and make it work? I have read that drivers have to be 64 bit to run on an x64 system, but I'm really tired of waiting and would love to be able to use this function.
If not, are there any solutions? I've read about running a VM with a 32 bit OS but I don't know anything about that really.

Someone plz help me. I'd be eternally grateful.
