It was a clean install of Windows XP, on the new hard drive. I installed SP3
via Windows Update. I use AVG, Spybot and Ad-Aware in addition to Windows
Firewall, no third party firewall. I'm not entirely sure if these were
running when I installed Service Pack 3 but it is more than likely, I assume
a message came up telling me to exit all programs and I didn't even think how
those were likely running in the background.
