In my first post, I typed a question about the computer environment, then
deleted it because a laptop is portable, by definition, so the environment
changes often. But perhaps you run on battery at work and then plug in when
you get home? Or you don't have air conditioning at home so the computer
gets much hotter? Or some other such small but significant difference?
I'm not a techie, so I'm glad Pavel interpreted that Stop Code for us. As
he said, it may indicate faulty memory (which fits my "hardware" theory) or
a driver.

Well, 6 months ago SP1 was current. But your Vista should have been updated
to SP2 by now, either by the shop or by you. It's not likely that this will
cure your BSOD, but it is always a good idea to stay current with Service
Packs and other updates.
